Copying (and Printing) Text

Copying

You can copy and paste limited portions of an eBook or other eContent item in the online reader. Copying large portions of content violates copyright laws. If your usage indicates possible excessive copying, the activity is logged and you see a warning message.

To copy and paste a portion of an eBook or other eContent item:

  1. Select the text that you want to copy.
  2. Open your browser's Edit menu.
  3. If the Copy command is available, click it to copy the selected text.
    If the Copy command is grayed-out, press Ctrl+C to copy the selected text.
  4. Paste (Ctrl+V) the text into your word-processor program.
